one of the more significant things for me, living and sleeping outside this summer, has been mornings. I have always had difficulty waking up in the morning. Its been that way my whole life. My brain goes into full gear at night, and it takes me a long time to fully wake up. but outside, i wake up naturally with the sun, and get tired soon after the sun goes down. I also positioned my sleeping space with the door facing east. I wake up, open the door, and lay in bed in the sunlight, watching the sunrise. In about 15 minutes, I am wide awake and energetic. Im going to be incorporating some of the things ive learned this summer into my life permanently.

yesterday, i saw a guy, who was pushing 350, fast walking on the shoulder of the road. his fat was flying everywhere, and he was pouring more sweat that i knew a human could produce. the look on his face, was one of the most inspiring things i have seen in years. it literally made me well up a little. if i see him again, im going to try to meet him, and tell him how much he inspires me.
