its taken me two weeks to get this thing running. the cells came out of an electric delivery van that had been built poorly, and the whole battery system had to be replaced. but there were some usable cells. i rigged a vape battery charger to trickle charge each cell for a few days to bring them up to a registering voltage, balanced them, and have had them on a small 50 watt 12v panel for a few days, with a cell balancer running. now all cells are up to 3.2 volts, with only 13mV difference between them. good sign. ill balance them again, add a BMS, and hook them to more powerful panels. 2kWh LiFePo battery for pretty cheap. Milk crate was free 😛
