when the Declaration of Independence was written, signed, and sent, they did not know what kind of government they would choose. They were simply saying openly, government that no longer serves the people, but oppresses them, must be replaced, and it is the duty of the people to do this.

also, with a frame of reference like that, i didn’t realize how quickly the moon moves
