a few years back, i was in an explosion. my wife watched as i was engulfed in flame and thrown 20ft backwards. the sound of her voice when she yelled my name was heart breaking. i called out, “im fine”. I said that, because i was totally fine. my experience was that i was wrapped in a warm wind that was actually pleasant and comforting. when she saw me get up unscathed, she couldn’t make sense of it. Now, every time i hear the line “i love you lord, you have led me through the fire” in the song “Goodness of God”, i remember the feeling of that comforting warm wind” just felt like sharing.

if im being completely honest… if Antony Fauci was shot, i wouldn’t celebrate, but i wouldn’t be very upset about it either. So i guess that means im not that much better than other people. The real question becomes what kind of person believes Charlie Kirk was a villain, and Fauci is a hero. And do i ever want to have anything to do with people who think like that?
