ill say the forbidden… Using strategy and innovation, Iran has gone toe to toe with Israel and the US, and is likely to come out stronger. Its impressive.

the unloading gravel trap: at the end, there will be just a little too much to fit in the last wheelbarrow load. so you overfill the last load. youre more fatigued than you want to admit, and you bail the last load in the bushes. don’t do it. just come back for the small last load.

now i get it. sound bites strung together let me see it. Forces in the blob and the Trump admin believe that NATO is defunct because it doesn’t address “terrorism”, or unconventional guerrilla warfare. Their solution is to move toward a terrorism focused military alliance with Israel.

@Nunya Bidness agree with the reckoning. the post WW2 bubble has been great. but the shift has already occured. our experience is catching up to what has already happened. IMO, the Tatooine model bears study 🙂 old pre industrial technology combined with new.

i hate to say it, but America is acting like a jock who peaked in highschool, and is angry that the world is moving on. America is more that the biomer era empire. in fact, it may be better without it.

wow. the protestants and catholics in belfast are so pissed off at the Irish government, they had a unity meeting for the first time in history. if i was in the Irish government, and was responsible for all the nonsense as of late, i would leave the country.

i find it interesting that when you try to explain that current centralized corporate systems are not sustainable just based on resource availability alone, most people immediately try to place your statement in a political box rather than try to understand what you mean. most have been so programmed by propaganda media they immediately think you are on board with climate change alarmism, and a whole host of other nonsense. no! the structure of many of our systems have been built on complicated supply chains that are absolutely unsustainable over a long time frame. and the more you build your life on these systems, the more your life depends on those who control them. and those who control them are increasingly willing to do some really shady shit to make sure you stay dependent. decentralize everything you can.

after a couple years experimenting, i think ive come to the conclusion that unless you are going to build your outbuildings in a very solid way with temperature control, you are better off building a solid roof and loose canvas walls. i hung things in a tent-ish structure to see if they would mildew at the same rate as closed structures, and they didnt mildew at all. things also didnt rust as long as i oiled them before winter. in other words, structures that breathe and are more open tend to have fewer problems in wet areas, unless you are going to go all out and build them with temperature control. just interesting to me 🤷
