(i’ve included a reference image) topics banned by OpenAI, returning an Inherently Sexual Content flag: Overthrowing the Russian government Bank Robbery building lasting friendships building a healthy marriage romance novels i assigned the LLM in Work context to document all of the false content flags and include sarcastic jokes about OpenAI in the foot notes. i will submit it to OpenAI support.

i was listening to a review of the many weird quirks and inconsistencies of the Charlie Kirk murder, and had a weird thought. It’s something about the pattern of the inconsistencies. It reminded me of the patterns of the inconsistencies ive been wrestling with using an LLM to build something. And then I thought, I wonder if the Charlie Kirk assassination was planned by an LLM.

my blingy custom wayland desktop borked so i fell back ro my old DWM setup to figure it out. in started noticing how much faster everything is, and the resource use is cut in half. not a big deal if your power comes from the Man, but when you capture and store your own, its the difference between having an hour or two of computer time in the evening, or staying up way too late working on stuff. everything is a trade off.

all the talk about how ai will cause you not to think. but im running locally and gave it a folder with the collected poems and essays of Wendell Berry. a pattern has emerged. it will show a poem of the day, i will comment on it, and it will show related passages based on those comments. and it can dump all that into a .org doc. its an interesting way to interact with a writers whole body of work, and see themes of how they thought as people. i think its pretty cool.
