Carrot top leaves can be used like parsley. Here I planted about one inch of the top of an organic carrot, keep some green stems or leaves attached, in soil to let the top grow. The peppers you see here is a Jimmy Nardello variety. It will produce a large plant with beautiful elf shoe looking fruit. They are great for Italian dishes. I am just finishing starting some seeds. I have some onions, lettuces, kale, peas, chives, parsley, and carrots. Normally you wouldn’t start carrots but these are in the peat pots so I’ll just stick them in a large one later. I do 99% of my garden in containers.
