Good evening all y’all! Boy howdy I am sore this tonight. I worked in the garden and chicken run all day. I pulled everything but kale and chard (gonna see how long they make it). I emptied the composter and put that on my containers. I covered them with wet cardboard to keep the chickens out. I emptied just about all the small containers and covered the soil with an old tarp. Two brown eggs yesterday, four the Wednesday. No new duck eggs. I figure by next week the shock should be over and production begins, but it's getting to the part of the year when they stop.
