I just finished watching #Adolescence on #Netflix, and just wow. What a powerful show. This is one that's unquestionably destined to win a shitload of awards. Adolescence tells the story of a 13yo boy who's arrested for the murder of a classmate, and the impact on his family who are struggling to understand what happened, and reconcile what he's done with the wonderful child they know and love. The kid who played the boy is a first-time actor who just completely smashed it out of the park. And the man who plays his father, Stephen Graham, co-created and co-wrote the 4 episode series. I've been a huge fan of Graham since I first watched Snatch!, which he starred in alongside Brad Pitt and Jason Statham. He delivered a truly masterful performance with unmatched depth and passion. Trump is destroying American traditions, and institutions, and engaging in the erasing and revising of history as part of his greater plan to sever the nation from its history, and the past before him. It's also why he's renaming bodies of water and mountains, and trying to seize control of Canada and Greenland. He wants to completely disconnect our sense of attachment to our true history and culture, make our geography unrecognizable, and set the stage for a new America made in his image. I hate to make the comparison, but what he's doing is literally what Hitler did during his rise to power. Hitler destroyed everything that was associated with Germany before him, and aggressively assaulted history books, documents, and even art that was a part of the "old" Germany. He wanted to erase it all from the psyche of the German people, so that they believed that there was only Hitler. Only the Nazis and their Reich. It's a classic step in the destruction of the old world, and the imposition of fascist dictatorship. Trump is destroying our culture, and our connection to the America of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln. Soon he will significantly advance his fascist agenda to establish the Trump American Empire. Hey frens... I know a lot of you do the carnivore diet, and I'm considering getting on board. I did Atkins many years ago and got good results by eliminating carbs. From what I understand, carnivore works similarly. I'm trying to get back down to my sexy weight, so a solid diet and gym regimen will be key. The gym is the easy part.
