Yesterday I declined another fiat job offer.
Was the fiat tempting?
Of course.
Living on the Bitcoin standard means I hold 0 fiat.
I am fiat broke as fuck. I chose to.
Extra fiat would make some things easier no denial there.
But let me be honest with you.
Would 50% of that salary feed the wrong network?
Yes.
Would it slowly pull my energy back into a system I fundamentally reject?
Yes.
Would it cost me valuable time with my daughter?
Yes.
Would it cost me valuable presence with my family?
Yes.
Would it cost me myself?
Absolutely!
So my choice was easy.
You cannot buy a person
who needs nothing.
I made a promise to myself.
My time & energy go only into networks that matter to me.
Networks that create real value.
