GM Such fun yesterday. Found a new running buddy! 🥳🤙 @RUNSTR #running #trailrunning #runstr We did a long run which was a lot more technical then expected. Hard running conditions for many kilometres. Also a lot of vert!! For me it was an easy z1-z2 run. We got to drink from streams and cross a big one. Got to go over glaciers. The whole thing wasn’t expected, so it became a little adventure. It was very fun! 🤩 Feeling grateful and strong 💪 Have a great Sunday and get ready for a new week!! 🧡💜⚡️🤙

GM Yesterday I did another sexy run (not!!) @RUNSTR #running #trailrunning #runstr I did a very easy recovery run exploring some new roads and trails. I also did my Shuttle training 11+11 and two strides. Looking at the overview of the training it looks very boring and slow, but this is the golden stuff. Doing the easy is sometimes the hardest part. Not to mention the shuttle training or strides. Not advanced stuff, but oh boy I think it’s important. Today is long run day (easy effort, have gone quite hard with races the past weekends). The weather here is shit, lets survive and have fun exploring some new trails 🤙 Hope you have a great weekend!!! 💪🧡💜

GM This was my sexy run on Thursday @RUNSTR #running #runstr #trailrunning I went up one of the small mountains here in Hammerfest. 340m. Nice and easy road up, not to steep. It was perfect for uphill training. Just like I try to simulate on the uphill treadmill. I came to the top and it was very windy, cold and rainy. Still a nice little view. Then comes the sexy and fun part. I went down fast. And some parts even faster. It was super fun! Also because was accompanied by the local reindeer’s a few times 😄 But that is what breaks you, and what I feel the days afterwards, going to fast down. That said those adaptations are super important if you’re going to do a race with lots of downs. (try to go fast and get really sore from some downhills a few weeks before a race, also very applicable to flat races, no matter the distance). I just wanted to compare how taxing it is for my body (legs) doing something fun like this going up and down a mountain, compared to just doing the uphill treadmill. Maybe I can do more of this, but not just go to hard on the downs and still be able to recover quick. This was all z1-z2 for me. And not once did I have to hike #teamneverhike (if you know, you know). Uphill treadmill is already giving me massive improvements (with everything else ofcourse…).
