BIG NEWS! You all know I’m passionate about Bitcoin (that should be clear by now 😉). What makes the following story even more unbelievable is that I moved to Switzerland on January 2, 2009 - one day before the genesis block of the #Bitcoin blockchain was mined by Satoshi Nakamoto 🧡 After grinding for almost 16 years in various fiat mines in Switzerland, I wanted to follow my passion, trusting that the money would eventually follow. I seriously wanted to work in Bitcoin. So, that’s exactly what I did - after being involved in Bitcoin since 2016, I came out of my online Bitcoin closet in April this year, launched the Swiss Hodler “brand,” and started engaging with the Bitcoin community in the Bitcoin bubble on Twitter (X) 🙏 Then, in September, I co-founded @THE Bitcoin Marketing Team 🧡, The Bitcoin Marketing Team, with @Bitcoin Adam, whom I met at @BTC Prague in June. I’ve enjoyed the freedom of being an independent consultant/entrepreneur for a few years. But in June, I met @Julian Liniger, Co-Founder and CEO of @Relai 🇨🇭, Europe’s biggest Bitcoin-only app, at @BTC Prague. Julian had noticed Swiss Hodler’s online presence and asked if I’d consider working for a company as an employee. I replied that #Relai was the only company in Switzerland I’d consider working for as an employee. That’s when we first started discussions 😎 Fast forward to today, my dream of working (and also getting paid for it) in Bitcoin is becoming reality. After being a Relai Squad member since June, on 11th of November (11.11. 😎), I’m officially becoming a Relaier, joining the team to help the 25 million SMEs in Europe move toward a Bitcoin Standard, add Bitcoin to their balance sheets with Relai Business, and assist HNWI clients at Relai Private to buy large amounts of Bitcoin 🚀 I’m super grateful to the entire Relai leadership team for this opportunity to join a fast-growing business on a mission to orange-pill Europe 🙏 What does this mean for #Bitfluencers? Warning! This is a bit longer post, but here’s my life-changing year in #Bitcoin 🧡 so far: In April, I decided to come out of my online Bitcoin closet after hiding for 8 years. That’s when @🇨🇭 Swiss Hodler was born. I simply renamed my old inactive personal X account and started posting about my passion - Bitcoin. In June, I attended my first-ever Bitcoin conference at @BTC Prague, where I met Bitcoin Adam, who has been in the space since 2009. Fast forward to September 3rd, I co-founded @THE Bitcoin Marketing Team 🧡 with Adam, with a mission to help Bitcoin-only companies spread the orange word. The team has rapidly grown into a global group of 16 Bitfluencers. Now, six months after "coming out", I wrapped up an amazing time at #BitcoinAmsterdam, where I boosted the #Bitfluencers, #TheBitcoinMarketingTeam, met numerous amazing Bitcoiners, and as the ultimate highlight, had the honor of meeting the amazing Maya Parbhoe, who is running for president in Suriname 🇸🇷 and plans to clean up corruption with the Bitcoin Standard when elected 🧡🧡🧡 Since April, the Swiss Hodler handle has grown from practically zero followers to over 4,700 on X, and the Swiss Hodler company page on High Fiatland LinkedIn has gained over 2,700 followers since launching the page in June 🤯 Sure, I know that I’m still a MiCkEY MoUsE League Bitcoin “influencer,” but you’ve got to start somewhere 😉 Anyways, super grateful for all the followers and this amazing community!
