Watching City on Fire on Apple TV, and I’m into it. Read the book years ago and didn’t love it, but the on-screen adaptation is solid. The creators really brought storyline to life, and the portrayal of NYC’s music subculture in 2003, which I was deeply immersed in, is a bit overdone but still reminds me of a more exciting time in the city.

I watched this video earlier this morning and broke down after reflecting on how the gentleman featured in it is using bitcoin to better his life. One of the things I love most about being in the Bitcoin space is how the diversity here is genuine, not manufactured. We’re just a group of people from around the world coming together to provide support to one another as we work to better our own lives and the lives of those around us via this technology and technologies like it (e.g., Nostr). It’s quite beautiful.
