Hard money, soft heart.
This is the way in 2026.

2025 was one of the most exciting and memorable years of my life.
It was very cool to have met a number of you Nostriches in real life!
Hope our paths cross more often in 2026.
Happy New Year 🥂
Silver will one day be priced in bitcoin.
That’s the main difference.
Merry Christmas!🎄
Watching City on Fire on Apple TV, and I’m into it.
Read the book years ago and didn’t love it, but the on-screen adaptation is solid.
The creators really brought storyline to life, and the portrayal of NYC’s music subculture in 2003, which I was deeply immersed in, is a bit overdone but still reminds me of a more exciting time in the city.
Next month, I’ll be sitting down with pro-Bitcoin New York attorney general candidate Khurram Dara for a fireside chat at @PUBKEY.
Join us on Jan 22 as we discuss what needs to change for NY to become a more Bitcoin-friendly jurisdiction.

Grateful to be staying buoyant within a fundamentally insolvent system with all of you.
I watched this video earlier this morning and broke down after reflecting on how the gentleman featured in it is using bitcoin to better his life.
I’d imagine most of you here on Nostr will feel it just as deeply, so please give it a watch, a like, and maybe even a subscribe to help support the project ( @Bitcoin Kakuma ).
Also, shout out to @Machankura 📞⚡ 8333.mobi for building the tech to help this man. You’re both legends, @kgothatso@8333.mobi and @Noelyne .
One of the things I love most about being in the Bitcoin space is how the diversity here is genuine, not manufactured.
We’re just a group of people from around the world coming together to provide support to one another as we work to better our own lives and the lives of those around us via this technology and technologies like it (e.g., Nostr).
It’s quite beautiful.
A moment of calm before we run it back for day two of Bitcoin MENA.
We’re getting started at 9:00 AM GST.
Be sure to tune in! ⚡️

The vibes were right on day one of Bitcoin MENA.
Looking forward to running it back tomorrow!

The grandeur of this building stops me in my tracks every time I walk by it.

Very glad we have an alternative to this with Nostr.

27 years ago today, I went to my first punk rock show.
I saw The Bouncing Souls at a venue called Tramps in New York City.
In the years that followed, I learned from that band, as well as many others in the DIY music scene, how important the spirit of doing things without permission is.
These bands put out their own records, booked their own tours, and wrote their own music - music than emanated directly from the depths of their hearts.
Without having gone to that show and gotten involved in the punk rock / hardcore / DIY scene in the years that followed, I don’t think I ever would have truly grasped what #Bitcoin and #Nostr are and why they are important.
I’m immensely grateful to all the bands and people I learned from in that scene, as not only did they help me find my purpose earlier on in life, but they primed me to notice and embrace two of the greatest technologies for human flourishing ever created.
So, on this Thanksgiving Eve, I’d like to thank the Bouncing Souls, the punk rock community worldwide, and, of course, all of you in the Nostrverse who carry on this spirit of permissionlessness.
