I’ve had the honor to share my thoughts and experience at the Bitcoin Atlantis conference in Madeira, during our “Dream job” panel. It was my first public speaking experience, and needles to say- I was trembling. I was cold (???), scared, confused, worried and I thought people in the crowd could see that even my sneakers were shaking. Still, after the panel, I felt great! To my knowledge, this was the first time ever that someone talked about the job market in the industry during the Bitcoin conference and I was excited to be among the first people to cover this important topic. The same day, I had another great honor, that is to talk about my two ebooks at the Book Corner and answer the questions from people right there! It was amazing! Challenges Bitcoiners are facing while looking for a job in the space are something we should cover more often, and these conversations should be honest and transparent. Challenges start-ups are facing while hiring are also real and having that helping hand and a foundation to build robust processes is step one in creating a common ground of understanding between these two parties.
