Birthday for my wifes best friend. Me doing my part added a bottle of 23 Pinot Noir. Now i hold onto that wine like i do my pipe tobacco and sats but this is an important person to my wife. She looked very excited to open it and share it with her husband. @Ben Justman🍷 hoping you get a new customer out of the deal. Share love, good times and great wine

Fried Gator Step 1 not seen get gator (if you're the adventurous type and it's legal pull tags and go hunting. If not google local gator trappers who sells meat. Step 2 Put processed gator into buttermilk and hot sauce mixture. Let sit 2 hours to overnight image At this time decide on your batter or flour mix. Ive used all purpose flour, corn meal, paprika, black pepper, onion powder and some other spices. Dont ask how much i dont measure. Step 3 Fill bottom of pot with preferred frying medium. Needs high smoke point. Oil will be at 350F. image Step 4 Pull gator from marinade, let excess drip or lightly shake. image Place into plate with flour mix and coat. If you have extra in bag grab some and sprinkle on top to coat. Shake off extra Step 5 Fun part, place battered gator into oil and fry 3-5 minutes or until done. Dont overcrowd the pot. Patience is key here image Step 6 Fish out of oil and drain on plate Final step Enjoy tasty fried gator image #cooking #foodstr #homecooking #southern #proofofwork

Recent trip to the range and witnessed someone shooting with kestrel a garmin chrono range finder and an app on his phone. Now i knew what the purpose for each one was but i wondered were these tools or crutches. Reading wind, understanding ballistics and fundamentals of marksmanship are skills that you have to develop but now i see Applied ballistics and "pay to play" shooters. Take the tools away can you still get on paper and zero the rifle? As we develop technology dont forget to learn how to function without it. #gunstr

After years of searching i found a left handed Tikka T3 in .308 for sale in the wild. Happy to add it to the home armory. Plus the zeiss optics included, this was a good weekend. #gunstr

Was able to take a tour of The American Can Company Building in Eastport, ME. Erected in 1908 as a can manufacturing facility and was instrumental in the roll top can design used in tinned fish. The building has since been left to rot while being listed on the National Historic Register. There is a 2" layer of pigeon seagull and rat shit mixed with seawater and feathers. Definitely do not recommend breathing deeply. Anyone looking to go halfsies on restoration and opening an artisanal sardine company? Step 1 is build a coffer damn, pump out water and repair the 139 concrete piers after 113 years of erosion and a 26' tidal difference twice a day. Fun fact the last sardine cannery in the USA closed in 2010. #history #maine #dreams #bitcoin #america

Fun trip and great views to Maine. If there was a poster child for communities that could greatly benefit from hard money this area is it. Small local owned shops, close communities and not a franchise or chain store in sight. The 100 year old woman I rented a room from at the B&B accepted check cash or travelers checks image #bitcoin #travel #maine
