Wall street now has more coins that the retail order books have liquidity. They can do with the retail price whatever they want. In short, we sold them too many coins too fast and this is the result.

If anyone would have told me that Bitcoin will do a mere 1x this cycle, I would have laughed at them. People wanted wall street and called it mass adoption... you're kinda getting what you deserve right now and maybe this time around you'll learn that those motherfuckers will destroy any asset if you give them enough market share.

Why do the fans of The Witcher (novels, lore etc) hate so much on the new season? Most people will tell you that it's because Henry Cavill left and that Liam Hemsworth isn't the right fit for the role. But that's only scratching the surface. In fact, Liam isn't that bad in his role. The real reasons why fans of the Witcher are upset is because Lauren Schmidt Hissrich destroyed the lore. She went as far away from the source material she possible could without having to give the show a new name. I took this apart, with some help from GPT to show you how far they went with the latest season. So ignoring the atrocity of turning Princess Ciri into a woke lesbian, let's begin. CORE DEVIATIONS FROM THE BOOKS -> Major character deaths diverge sharply from the novels. Vesemir dies at Montecalvo in the show, but survives in the books. Istredd dies by sacrifice in the show, which does not occur in the novels. Several sorceresses (Keira Metz, Margarita, others) die earlier than canon. -> Montecalvo is reimagined as a large-scale battlefield. In the books this location is mainly political, not a war zone. -> The Lodge of Sorceresses is structurally different. New members are invented for the show. Some book-canon members are killed or removed prematurely. This alters the future political balance of the Lodge. -> Geralt’s political role shifts. The show binds him more directly to Meve and knighthood. In the books, he remains more independent and resistant to political alignment. -> Ciri’s arc is compressed and intensified. Her identity under the name Falka, her time with the Rats, and her capture by Bonhart are rearranged or accelerated. The show frames her as more proactive and aggressive than in the novels. -> Narrative framing through storytellers is a show invention. The introduction of Stribog and future-Nimue creates a mythic framing absent from the books. This changes the tone from grounded political-fantasy to saga-retelling. IMPACT ON LORE -> Emotional intensity and dramatic stakes are increased at the cost of book accuracy. -> Deaths shift the long-term political dynamics built by Sapkowski. -> Thematically, the show becomes more action-driven and less subtle. -> The structure of the magical world (Lodge, mages, alliances) moves further away from book canon. -> Core plotlines (Vilgefortz, prophecy, Ciri’s importance) remain intact but are delivered differently. OVERALL ASSESSMENT -> The show is no longer a faithful visualisation of the books. -> It is now an adaptation that uses the books as a reference, not as a blueprint. -> Fans expecting accuracy will see the deviations as significant. -> Viewers treating the series as an independent retelling may find the changes functional for television pacing. So as you can see, the pretty much invented a new Witcher with the latest season and they did a terrible job. This is why fans of the Witcher literally hate the season. It's not "just" a new Geralt, it's a different Geralt and the fans aint having it. Henry Cavill did what was right by leaving "this" show. He signed up for something else.
