I don't feel like bothering with this kind of "content" and "free speech" any more. Have fun growing nostr! ๐Ÿ‘‹ image

normalising the pasting of private keys into apps or websites while deriving a Bitcoin address from that key is really a great idea and has ZERO attack vectors.

If an app or relay operator decides they don't want someone using THEIR product or infrastructure everyone goes bananas... and then there is people who think that pasting private keys into web forms and on-chain zaps are a great idea. ๐Ÿคก week on nostr

Been reading the comments on this note and it made me realise that normies will have a VERY hard time to grasp nostr - if they put enough effort into sticking around long enough to figure things out. Vitor: Many people don't have their profile event in their outbox relays Then mentions of tor, resetting indexers, adding search and index relays etc pp. This not a rant just an observation but yeah, GL explaining this to your grandma and other folks. The average user wont stick around long enough to study all the different kinds of relays you're meant to setup (and maintain) just to use nostr. View quoted note โ†’

On the topic of relay-level censorship or blacklisting. I can see why some operators might not want this person using their service. image
