A change would dramatic for any German Bitcoiner. "The AfD parliamentary group opposed the Greens' legislative proposal, arguing that it is not appropriate to seek out new sources of taxation; rather, it would be better to limit the scope of what is subject to taxation. They contended that this approach could be financially viable if the state were restricted to its core functions - specifically citing internal and external security, as well as the administration of justice."
