Lagarde: "Europe is at risk of losing monetary sovereignty to private dollar stablecoins." Nobody suggested to stand by and just watch this happen. I knew that it was a bad idea to make a former synchrone swimmer the boss of the European Central Bank.

I really want to know where they get these numbers. 9 out of 10 Europeans? 9 of them work for the regulating body of the EU, the 10th is the Janitor and he didn't really understand the question. image

"If it works, don't change it" We don't need silent payments and on-chain zaps. Stop reinventing the wheel, LN zaps work just fine. I see a TON of bad and high-risk experiments happening on nostr as I write this and for what? Just to prove that something can be done even if it puts users (and/or their money) at risk? Everyone wants to be a Bitcoiner an Cypherpunk around here but in reality all I see is a bunch of fiat whores stuck between two worlds.
