My Object: A Vintage Wallet
This wallet is very important to me because it was given to me by my late grandma, my Lola Mameng. 🤍 She used this wallet for many years while working at the barangay. It may be small and worn out, but to me, it's one of the most valuable things I own. Still using till now just have to fix the button since it not lockiing anymore due to its age hehe
Well a small wallet like this is a true keeper because, even though it isn't big, it has witnessed countless struggles, sacrifices, and moments of perseverance. It carried not just money, but also my grandma's hard work, hopes, and determination during the times when life wasn't easy.
Looking at this wallet reminds me that the value of something isn't measured by its size or appearance, but by the memories and love it holds. The lesson I learned from keeping it is to appreciate even the simplest things because they often carry the greatest stories. It also reminds me to work hard, stay humble, be grateful for what I have, and never forget the sacrifices of the people who came before me. This wallet is more than just an old belonging it's a piece of my grandma's legacy that I will always treasure.
