Bitcoin will avoid hyperinflation that has ever happened in History due to fiat currencies that are centralized and controlled with greedy. For example in Germany in the 1920s,and then in hungary around 1940s and again in zimbambwe which led to dissolving the zimbawean dollar and instead started using other currencies, causing people to lose savings, pensions in bank accounts.

I’m Thandi,a Bitcoin advocate,YakiHonne Ambassador and founder of Girl Think Initiative, a girl-centred design program supported by the Women of Satoshi Cooperative. I am a passionate advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), with a focus on empowering young girls in public primary schools and those who have dropped out of school in Malawi.
My work involves partnering with communities to promote education through Bitcoin Edcuation Initiatives, school feeding programs, SRHR sessions, and the provision of essential school materials. I am committed to advancing girls’ right to education, as well as their right to access accurate information, resources, and support related to SRHR.
With the way things have deteriorated. starting with broken economic systems, widespread government corruption, and continuous violations of human rights it is fair to say we have found new hope in Nostr and Bitcoin. Being decentralized and censorship-resistant, they protect people’s dignity, freedom, and sovereignty. That is all we want.
We advocate for Bitcoin in Malawi and beyond, using education and adoption to drive real change.

In Malawi, Bitcoin initiatives by Women of Satoshi focus on building a circular economy and connecting women who have been burdened by traditional financial systems. Through these initiatives, women learn different skills by forming cooperatives, empowering them to achieve financial independence.

We think Bitcoin,we dream bitcoin,we live bitcoin.
Women of Satoshi in Malawi is focused on building circular economies, introducing women to Bitcoin, and empowering them to achieve financial freedom.
Bitcoin is becoming a backbone of the global economy, including Africa.
When we talk about real challenges such as gender inequality, gender-based violence, and corruption, we must also talk about money. And this money is Bitcoin.
Ladies! lets not miss this one, starting in 50 minutes
https://x.com/i/spaces/1eaKbjVajldKX?s=20Bitcoin initiatives should be guided by clear policies, standard operating procedures, and safeguarding frameworks. They must also uphold accountability and transparency.
Do we always sell when we buy stocks on the market exchange? No, we don’t. Do we panic? No, we don’t,because we understand that the market keeps changing. Instead, we buy more and more for future profits.
The same applies to Bitcoin. There is no need to panic; instead, keep stacking more sats.
Money is energy. Money is power. What is the true purpose of money if it is controlled or manipulated by a central government or institution? This is why we say Bitcoin is the answer. Bitcoin is the true definition of the energy and power of the people. Bitcoin is true money.
Where do I see myself in the Bitcoin ecosystem in the next two years?
I see myself fully equipped with the right knowledge, tools, and resources to advocate for Bitcoin initiatives for women and the girl child not only in Malawi, but across the world. I envision myself facilitating Bitcoin education programs internationally, reaching communities that have long been excluded from financial systems.
I see myself sharing ideas and strategies with other underserved and underdeveloped communities, where the answer to economic empowerment and financial freedom can begin with Bitcoin education.
Bitcoin is not just technology to me,it is a tool for inclusion, dignity, and human rights.

Women of Satoshi and Girl Think Initiative as Bitcoin advocates promoting girls’ right to education, we on a mission to spread awareness. We are on a mission to tell communities that there is money you can transact freely, without anyone restricting you.we are on a mission to show people that money should promote human rights, not hinder them. We are on a mission to help people realize that there is no need to stand in long bank queues just to access your own money. Finally, we are on a mission to ensure that businesses begin to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment in Malawi.

Bitcoin is a human right since it is the only money in the world that is not corrupted. It is not under anyone’s power. It is free and inclusive of all people. It is very convenient and has a good store of value because of its blockchain. It involves everyone. Most of all, its power is in the hands of everyone who takes part in it.
Why Support Girl Think Initiative in Promoting Girl Child Education as a Fundamental Human Right
Girl child education is not a privilege ,it is a fundamental human right.
Malawi is a landlocked country where about 80% of the population lives in rural areas. In many of these communities, extreme poverty is the norm. Girls grow up without knowing that education is their right. Most have little to no knowledge of human rights or sexual and reproductive health, and as a result, many are forced to drop out of school, marry early, and continue the cycle of poverty.
These girls face daily hardships, lack of safe drinking water, poor sanitation facilities, food insecurity, and limited access to basic services. For generations, this reality has been passed down from mothers to daughters, leaving very few opportunities for change.
Girl Think Initiative exists to break this cycle.
Through education, community engagement, and Bitcoin financial education, Girl Think works to empower girls and their surrounding communities. Our first goal is to ensure girls stay in school or return to school. Our long-term goal is to equip families and communities with financial tools and knowledge that enable them to sustainably support girls’ education.
By combining girl child education, human rights awareness, sexual and reproductive health education, and Bitcoin powered financial inclusion, Girl Think Initiative is creating hope where it has been absent for generations.
Supporting Girl Think Initiative means investing in dignity, education, and a future where girls are empowered to thrive.

Bitcoin is not fiduciary. It doesnt depend on an institution or a central government for it to be money. This means Bitcoin is money with an intrisic value. Its importance, its value doesnt depend on anyone .
Fiat currencies are easy to use but unfortunately they are easily devauled by entities controlling them like governments. This destroys the whole purpose of money to store value and ofcourse protect the dignity of people using it.
A lesson from this years African Bitcoin Conference.
My husband recently went on a business trip to a Bitcoin Conference in Mauritius. One day he called me and said, “Iiih Thandi, nsaname, I’m so inspired, and at the same time I feel like many of us take things for granted.”
He then told me about a young man he met, someone from a country where rebels constantly invade villages. People there are forced to move back and forth, hiding in the mountains just to survive. My husband said that even when they met at the airport, you could tell the man came from a poor family and a very humble background. But through his hard work, he managed to attend this business trip and experience something life changing.
This young man is learning programming and coding. To study, he walks almost 2 kilometres to do piece work so he can buy data bundles for the internet. He borrows a laptop from a friend in the village just so he can continue learning. And that dedication is exactly what got him noticed. The organisers saw his commitment and invited him to this big conference.
Now back to what my husband was reflecting on. He said, “Thandi, it’s sad how so many young people I know back home take for granted the resources we have in Malawi. We have no wars, and many young people especially in urban areas have access to phones, internet, and computers.”
Look at where this young man is coming from his village is constantly affected by conflict, people are displaced all the time, yet he still works hard. He told my husband that because they have grown up knowing they are underserved, they make it a point to push themselves even more.
Bitcoin is more than money. It is a product of philosophical and technological revolution that continues to reshape the world.
