Ride #3 was a short 30-minute recovery spin. It was just enough to keep the legs moving and rebuild my “ride every day” habit.
It reminded me of DCA: small, steady accumulation that doesn’t look like much in the moment, but compounds over time.
You don’t need fireworks every day, you just need to keep showing up and not break the pattern.
Training and stacking both reward consistency more than intensity. And speaking of intensity, big session planned for tomorrow. And I’m looking forward to it.

they reveal me

Some days the legs feel great, some days they don’t. But every session adds to the chain.
Training is just hashing miles: slow, steady, verifiable work that can’t be faked. #cycling #bitcoin #proofofwork

Day 2 back on the bike. I aimed for 90 minutes, but the fatigue from yesterday was still there and the sit bones were sore. I rode 30 minutes and called it.It’s not about perfection right now… it’s about rebuilding with honesty and patience. The long road starts with days like this.

Finished a 1-hour indoor training session today. It was my first day back on the bike. It felt good to start putting my mental issues and the past behind me and focus on the road and challenges ahead.
I was a little taken aback that TrainerRoad’s AI has dropped my FTP down to 205—roughly half of what it was 6 months ago. Given my performance in this session, it seems a reasonably accurate estimation. I’ll do a ramp test in 4 weeks to see where I’m at.
Consistency is key. My biggest challenge is building new habits, one day at a time.

I’ve been off the bike for six months dealing with some health issues and a heavy stretch mentally.
Starting to turn the pedals again and rebuild the fitness I lost, one ride at a time.
Logging the work here.
