First time saying 'good morning' on Nostr. The view outside our window was too captivating not to share. π€

Hubby's watching some video of a guy making a road using a big vehicle.
Our 12 week old son is watching too. I was holding him but had to lay him dow fir a moment to do something, and he started whining. I picked him back up so he could keep watching, and now he's satisfied π€£
With only a little assistance, our 12 week old son just climbed onto his daddy's belly! ππ€π₯°
Napping is a great way to cure boredom π π€£
Now we're home again. The US grandma was supposed to go to sleep at 8pm then if we weren't back yet, she could give him to his Swedish grandma and we got home around 8:20pm, but the upstairs lights were still on, so we went upstairs.
Apparently he had eaten but it wasn't enough so then he cried for quite a while. She thought it was cause it was too warm so she took him to one of the back rooms and when he calmed down they'd been talking.
He started talking to her again while we were there and we got it on video! He was staring right at her, smiling and "talking", it was adorable! Clearly, they are now friends!
We had fun being out. I've heard moms missing their babies a lot the first time they leave their baby with someone else, but I was fine. π

I eat rocks now.

First date night since having our son and we're not bringing him! π±πΆπ€
We have a grandma babysit π
Before going to church yesterday morning I wrote our website on a post it a few time, just incase we met someone.
Then our son attracted two different women. A single one and one who recently started dating someone. We gave them both the link. π€
Http://FikaTimeBooks.com we mostly promoted "How to Prepare Yourself for Marriage" and my husbands nostr:nprofile1qqsfepkhw5m6vwqvudc78fyxp0r7r7e2mwegyxl34rcu6n5vuq3ypjgprfmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ycmgv43kktndv5hsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap09r92yd upcoming book, "How to Build Deeply Authentic Relationships with Yourself and People"
It's so nice staying in a place with a WinCo, cause last night we were spontaneous and went and got vanilla ice cream and a chocolate cake for dessert at night! π
While there we also got milk and cereal. I saw my mom's milk and wanted to drink a whole gallon just before we left. π
when we got home the ice cream covered that desire, but this morning I basically chugged 1/4th gallon easily! π
I'm wondering if my son has started to get spoiled from other people holding him and bouncing as they do. I usually don't.
I handed him to my brother once and apparently our son would start making noise whenever he stopped walking extra bouncy, and now my son seems to do the same with me π
π¬πΆπ€£π€
Oh and he got an "I think he is my prettiest grandchild" from his grandpa who already had 5 grandkids before our son. ππ
I hung out with my mom today, and in the evening my brother who had hung out in town came back with a burger for her, and then I put our son in my brother's arms and left for about 15 minutes as I went home (our motorhome parked right outside) and made dinner and then brought it back to them.
My baby and brother got some bonding time!!! π₯°
I had lost weight after giving birth compared to what I weighed before being pregnant. I thought I'd regained some weight cause we've been eating a lot more after.
However, when I stood on my in-laws scale, I'd actually lost another almost 20 lbs! π€―π
I guess having kids is good for me π€£
Or is it that we've been eating at home instead of out so we've been skipping most of the seed oils? π€
Our son got to meet his Swedish Grandma and Uncle last night! π₯°
Then, while my husband nostr:nprofile1qqsfepkhw5m6vwqvudc78fyxp0r7r7e2mwegyxl34rcu6n5vuq3ypjgprfmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ycmgv43kktndv5hsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap09r92yd and I were talking to them and our son was chilling on the floor a little bit away, I looked over and saw his American grandparents sitting/laying down on the floor to hang out with him! It was such a precious moment! π₯°

I got to see my mom and brother tonight! And they brought some chocolate. Apparently shrinkflation has hit Sweden too, as the former 200g chocolate bars are only 160g now! And apparently the pick & mix candy that used to be like 3.49sek/hg, or something, on sale, were now "on sale" for 7.99sek/hg and full price was over 10sek/hg.
Before they showed up, my husbands mom brought out a blanket that her mom had made for my husband when he was a baby and gave it to us!
My mom didn't only being chocolate and candy, her and my brother also brought a gift for my son, their grandson/nephew. It was wrapped, so I directed it to my 2.5 month olds hand and he ripped it a tiny bit, so we counted it and then me and his dad ripped the rest of it open (I mean, it was his gift, he needs to at least get to open it a little bit!)
It was a baby book with farm animals and different textures! π
Then before they left the pulled out some of our old kids books they had brought. I remembered them so I asked for some of them, remembering the format more than the content.
The my mom said they have some more things from relatives, as well as her having gotten some money from relatives to go shopping with me to get our son some more things! π₯Ίπ₯°π
We'll get the things tomorrow as they're gonna stay here with us from that time.
We are so grateful! He's almost outgrown his clothes so we need some new ones, plus it's getting towards winter so he will actually need some clothes now, unlike when he was born and it was still above 90f out and the diaper was almost too much π
Oh, and we got some old baby shorts/overalls that my husband had had as a baby as well!
nostr:nprofile1qqsfepkhw5m6vwqvudc78fyxp0r7r7e2mwegyxl34rcu6n5vuq3ypjgprfmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ycmgv43kktndv5hsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap09r92yd and I have been enjoying some of the candy after they left. Hubby tried some black licorice, but he didn't like it. That particular one isn't my favorite either. My actual favorite candy is a marshmallow banana covered in chocolate. Hubby tried that too and really like them! π€
I had a great day today! π₯°π₯³

I want to knit! Everyone else on Nostr seems to be doing it. I usually don't follow trends, but I like this one! ππ§Άπ§΅π§£π§€π§¦π

I'm used wondering mountains in the distance, but what is all this green stuff between us and them? It's like 'alive' stuff or something! π±π€π

We got pulled over once in Reno, my husband driving and decided to turn kinda last second, but didn't actually violate any laws.
It was around midnight, there was snow in the ground and we hadn't been prepared when we went there. I was wearing a dress, thick socks, and one of my husbands dress jackets.
Then they asked me to step out of the vehicle.
There was the initial officer and then 2 backup, one female and one male, who stayed with me.
The male frisked me and when the female saw my wedding ring, she asked kinda surprised, "are you two married?" After that she seemed to wonder what the point was. It seemed they'd been called in as backup for suspicion of something that she seemed to no longer suspect us of.
The initial officer had asked if I was nervous, but I wasn't nervous, just cold, and when I told him, he said he was too. Yeah?! Well, he was wearing more than me, and he's the one who made the decided to put us both in that situation!
They asked me questions, one of which was where we were going to stay that night, and when I asked finally what that mattered to them, they stopped asking me questions and went and got my husband.
My husband pushed back more, and when the original officer didn't get anywhere with him, he used his flashlight and walked around our van, which I was not standing in front of with the two backups.
Since we don't do any drugs or had any cash, they eventually ended up letting us go with a warning or something.
We'd seen a video of a guy passing through Nevada who kept his money in cash cause he didn't trust the banks, and the cops confiscated his money anyways, even if he had legitimate records of every single dollar with him!
Turned out they get paid for sending money along to... the drug unit I believe... regardless of if it's legit or not. It took him fighting them with lawyers for 6 months to get his money back!
We were so happy we were already into Bitcoin and hadn't accidentally had a wad of cash with us when this happened.
We needed to forgive them and let it go, especially me, cause I didn't wanna set foot in Nevada again after how they treated us/me. Now I'm fine with it and have had some more pleasant times in that state, but I still wouldn't want to live there!
It sure seemed like they were fishing for something else, cause it's not normal for cops to pull out the passenger at a traffick stop!
Anyways, keep your money in bitcoin and not cash if you're driving through Nevada π
