We went to breakfast with one of my husbands friends and his wife, and showed off our new edition πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Ά Then my hubby went to work for his dad and I sat in the car to feed our son before I was supposed to walk to a coffee shop, borrow my husbands laptop, and help edit his upcoming book... Well he came back after some time, as I had just woken up, and our son had just fallen asleep πŸ˜… He had to pick up something from the store so we went with him. Then I needed more sleep, so I was "just" going to take a little nap and then go to the coffee shop. I woke up like 5 times, shifted position, tried to wake up "because I was supposed to" and then it was like 2:30pm πŸ˜… I got out cause I thought our son had woken up, and I figured it would be easier to feed him before getting to the coffee shop, but he was still asleep. I looked at the things I'd need to carry, and realized my body was still filled with nap sauce and super weak. Last night we'd taken the same walk and I felt like my back was about to snap from the weight of the baby and my bag with laptop. I'd taken out my laptop but now I'd need to supplement with my husband's bad and laptop 😬 I decided to wait a bit to let my body wake up before trying that endeavor. After a few minutes my son woke up so I went to get him, and his grandpa saw us and let me know my husband was done for the day. πŸ˜… yay, I didn't need to carry everything! And I'm really glad he told me, so I didn't decide to start walking to the coffee shop just then! Hubby joked about me having left and come back already, and I agreed, i left and came back like 5 times... but to sleep land, not the coffee shop for work πŸ˜…πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£ He'd seen my tired face when he went shopping though, so he understood that I needed some rest. I love my husband @LeviJohnson.net he's the best (for me) πŸ₯°

There was some icy snow remnants on the ground where we got our Christmas tree today, so I made sure our son got to experience it a little bit. My husband agreed and brought a little piece into the car before I was able to get out at first, and then I asked him to take some pictures of us while I crouched in a snowy patch, and I grabbed a piece so our son was able to touch with one hand. He didn't recoil, so that was cool (pun intended πŸ˜‡πŸ€£) He is half Swedish after all! The land with 6 month of snow, at least where I grew up in the north.

So, golf is basically just a really long walk with some occasional arm swinging πŸ˜‡ 🀣

First time saying 'good morning' on Nostr. The view outside our window was too captivating not to share. πŸ€— image

Now we're home again. The US grandma was supposed to go to sleep at 8pm then if we weren't back yet, she could give him to his Swedish grandma and we got home around 8:20pm, but the upstairs lights were still on, so we went upstairs. Apparently he had eaten but it wasn't enough so then he cried for quite a while. She thought it was cause it was too warm so she took him to one of the back rooms and when he calmed down they'd been talking. He started talking to her again while we were there and we got it on video! He was staring right at her, smiling and "talking", it was adorable! Clearly, they are now friends! We had fun being out. I've heard moms missing their babies a lot the first time they leave their baby with someone else, but I was fine. 😎 View quoted note β†’

Before going to church yesterday morning I wrote our website on a post it a few time, just incase we met someone. Then our son attracted two different women. A single one and one who recently started dating someone. We gave them both the link. πŸ€— Http://FikaTimeBooks.com we mostly promoted "How to Prepare Yourself for Marriage" and my husbands @LeviJohnson.net upcoming book, "How to Build Deeply Authentic Relationships with Yourself and People"

Our son got to meet his Swedish Grandma and Uncle last night! πŸ₯° Then, while my husband @LeviJohnson.net and I were talking to them and our son was chilling on the floor a little bit away, I looked over and saw his American grandparents sitting/laying down on the floor to hang out with him! It was such a precious moment! πŸ₯°

I got to see my mom and brother tonight! And they brought some chocolate. Apparently shrinkflation has hit Sweden too, as the former 200g chocolate bars are only 160g now! And apparently the pick & mix candy that used to be like 3.49sek/hg, or something, on sale, were now "on sale" for 7.99sek/hg and full price was over 10sek/hg. Before they showed up, my husbands mom brought out a blanket that her mom had made for my husband when he was a baby and gave it to us! My mom didn't only being chocolate and candy, her and my brother also brought a gift for my son, their grandson/nephew. It was wrapped, so I directed it to my 2.5 month olds hand and he ripped it a tiny bit, so we counted it and then me and his dad ripped the rest of it open (I mean, it was his gift, he needs to at least get to open it a little bit!) It was a baby book with farm animals and different textures! πŸ˜ƒ Then before they left the pulled out some of our old kids books they had brought. I remembered them so I asked for some of them, remembering the format more than the content. The my mom said they have some more things from relatives, as well as her having gotten some money from relatives to go shopping with me to get our son some more things! πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯°πŸ™ We'll get the things tomorrow as they're gonna stay here with us from that time. We are so grateful! He's almost outgrown his clothes so we need some new ones, plus it's getting towards winter so he will actually need some clothes now, unlike when he was born and it was still above 90f out and the diaper was almost too much πŸ˜… Oh, and we got some old baby shorts/overalls that my husband had had as a baby as well! @LeviJohnson.net and I have been enjoying some of the candy after they left. Hubby tried some black licorice, but he didn't like it. That particular one isn't my favorite either. My actual favorite candy is a marshmallow banana covered in chocolate. Hubby tried that too and really like them! πŸ€— I had a great day today! πŸ₯°πŸ₯³ image

I'm used wondering mountains in the distance, but what is all this green stuff between us and them? It's like 'alive' stuff or something! πŸ˜±πŸ€—πŸ˜ƒ View quoted note β†’
