We've been thinking about what we could do/talk about if we did a podcast. The other day we got stories from Gemini and the first section he gave us were clearly all leftists being insane and refusing to understand that stealing and lying about stealing is always wrong, so if someone puts real milk in an oat milk carton and you steal your roommates milk and get violently I'll due to lactose intolerance, it's still 100% on you! And similar stories. We both felt drained after just reading a few of those stories, even after he upgraded the style or stories. We're not drama people. Today I thought about reading my/our books. But I don't want to edit, and I don't care about getting a quiet place, so basically my idea would just me to reach a chapter of my book, with any and all interruptions that might happen, like our son coming up and squealing next to me, and trying to get to my laptop etc. Basically, a look into the raw life of us, while also getting to hear a story. And then if someone wants to read the story without interruptions, they can go buy the book themselves, either audio, kindle, or physical. And then I can move on and read my hubby's books too, though not novels, and his latest book has a few REALLY long chapters, so I might split those if I do this πŸ˜…πŸ€£ I'd probably do it live on YouTube cause I don't wanna edit and don't have enough storage to record and then upload, and then YouTube would do all the storing for me 😎
Trains, clouds and rain... and lots and lots of sand! 🀣 image
Hubby went outside as it smelled like rain, and then our son woke up from his nap and now I'm sitting in the doorway, while my guys are outside in the sprinkling rain and wind, and NOT HOT (finally!) And our son comes back to me for a moment here and there for some warmth and then turns and wants back out to the adventure with his dad! Yep, we made an adventurer, I'm not sure there was a way to avoid it based on our genetics 🀣 also, he's half Swedish, so being cold isn't that big of a deal πŸ˜…πŸ€£
"Oh no it's raining, we can't go anywhere!" πŸ˜‡πŸ˜ŽπŸ€— I guess we're just gonna have to stay home and relax πŸ˜…πŸ₯°πŸ€£
I just started reading my first novel out loud to our son, and then he started pushing himself up to standing and stood for several seconds! I called my hubby over and he got to see it before our son fell onto his butt. Then hubby got his phone ready and our son stood back up and let go of the edge he'd been using several more times, tipped over again and then stood up again! πŸ₯³πŸ€—πŸ₯°πŸ€—πŸ‘ΆπŸ˜πŸ₯° He's not scared anymore, and he has found his balance so well!!! Walking, here he comes!!! Oh, and earlier today, he only grabbed one of my hands before he walked a few steps! He usually makes sure to grab something with each of his hands, and I've removed one before, but this was the first time he walked with only one by his own decision!!! πŸ€—πŸ₯°πŸ€—πŸ₯³
Is it called a car accident even if someone used the car on you on purpose? If so, I was in a car accident a bit ago, as my son grabbed his car and happily moved his hand up and down, where down was right into my knee, and I stopped him and told him it hurt, but then he went again with smile on his face as he was thinking we were playing πŸ˜…πŸ₯΄πŸ‘ΆπŸ€£πŸ€£ (then he stopped)
I want to live somewhere with grass outside our door so I feel comfortable setting out son down. πŸ€— Now we're surrounded by sand and cactus and evil little needle plants that spread everywhere so no where is safe. πŸ₯΄
Our son never got under my ribs while in my tummy, but today he somehow managed to get his foot in under my rib 😬πŸ₯΄πŸ˜–
Then he proceeded to use my face as I laid down to push himself up at least 3 maybe 4 times, falling straight back onto my face/eyesocket πŸ˜… but he was practicing hands free! πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ View quoted note β†’
Ooooh!! Our son was just standing using a flat hand against his dad, and then let go for a split second! He did it a few times this evening! He's getting there! He's getting there!!!! πŸ˜ƒπŸ₯³πŸ˜ƒπŸ₯³πŸ€—πŸ₯³πŸ‘Ά
Our son went up to his little basket of toys and what did he pick out? An old grey plastic cover to something he found previously. πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘Ά
I have a follower in real life. If I go to the other room, so does he. Even if he seems to be happily playing and I pass him, very shortly, he is wherever I am. I love being a mom! πŸ₯°πŸ‘Ά
I can hear when it's our sons nap/bed time. He's still playing, but he whines while it's happening πŸ€£πŸ‘Ά
Our son held and ate a banana all by himself today!! πŸ₯³ and he only tasted the skin briefly before going back and taking bites from the actual banana! 😱πŸ₯³πŸ€—πŸ₯³πŸ‘Ά (Still under observation just in case he got a too big chunk and needed help. But he did it!)
I recently came across an image (probably AI hemerated) talking about the lies and truths about eggs, and it got me thinking about how many lies people have been fed about food that has seriously damaged their health. I grew up drinking whole milk and using read butter, but kept seeing all those people avoiding fat. Whenever I saw "fat free yogurt", I'd feel almost scared, because I thought the reason yogurt was thick was because of the milk fat, kinda like heavy cream, so what the heck did they do the the yogurt to keep the thickness after removing the fat!? 😬 So, on that image I saw, it mentioned that some people believe the lie that egg yolk is extra fat and that's why they don't eat it, but the truth is that that's where most of the nutrition actually is. I didn't know that's why some people have avoided egg yolks, and I'm appalled by this lie yet again! Fat isn't bad, it just breaks down differently, so if you eat a bunch of carbs with it, the body breaks down the carbs first and then triggers hunger feelings to get more easy carbs instead of breaking down the fat.
