Our son now provides his own food at 1 year and 1 month old! I just went to start my sons breakfast, and he followed me and then I looked down and he was putting something in his mouth! I asked him what it was and he showed me a piece of chicken nugget from dinner last night! Haha, I thought I'd found all the pieces he had spread around yesterday, but apparently I'd missed one. Hm, sure, go for it! At least that's actual good and not a piece of cardboard or plastic or a dead fly! 😅😎

I cut some cucumber sticks and left them within reach of our son who quickly got one. He ate several sticks usually holding one in each hand! 😎👶🤗 I love being a mom! This was his first taste of cucumber and clearly it was a hit!

2 years ago I wrote the first book in a thought to be 9 book series called The Prophetic Detective. This summer I found out some more things about cops and now I'm not really that inspired to write about someone helping them out... but maybe I can make sure the cops in my story town are not like the general American cops who are trained to lie and look for anything suspicious in order to arrest innocent people, just in case. Yep, I think my police chief will have a very strict policy that anyone who lies to get a confession gets reprimanded! Yeah, maybe I can write the stories if that's the case! 😅

Ok, today is a good morning! I woke up to our son sitting between us, playing with an open bottle and a closed smaller bottle that kinda fit in the opening of the opened bottle. Then he flipped the closed one over because the lid of that one is one of those softer tube looking things that can suck up liquid. So when he flipped it, it could fit more in the open bottle! Then he'd shake it until it fell out and put it back in again, over and over, and he was laughing! Okay fine, I'll wake up, it's worth it! 🥰🤗👶

I had a dream where I had a flash back to a year ago and the doctor who cared for me after my c-section had provided me with heroin tablets after I had declined the oxy or whatever the hospital offered as pain relief, claiming that he'd gotten me something weaker. I think in the dream I had taken one or two before I realized they weren't what he had claimed! But I'd been able to easily stop without any lingering effects. 😅 In reality he only gave me blood pressure medication, as I didn't take anything for the pain past maybe an aspirin I was given at the hospital the first day or so. I still didn't like him, and later found out he's probably a Morman which explains the fake smily attitude I felt a bit creeped out about

I've been wanting pancakes for a while and today I asked Gork if I could make it in the microwave (we don't use our stove) and he made me a recipe and I tried it and it actually worked! It's kinda dense and I'd prefer a fried surface, but I'll be making it again... maybe right now, cause I'm hungry! 🤣

I had a dream where hubby was looking at a house and the owner just started renovating it to sell, and we talked and found that it would be easy to get all the money for a house in 2 days (debt free) because we already have the systems in place to let people know about our books! I wanna live like that! Not separate from God, but where we know God can easily use what we've done to get us what we need in the moment, be it under $5 for a coffee shop visit, or $500 000 for a house, or 5 million for an entire complex.

We got some handmedowns from a new friend recently that included a hooded sweater. I think it's for 18 months so my first thought was, great, we have something for those cold winter days! Then we got home last night and it was in the high 50s and now he's wearing it! I folded the sleeves so his hands are visible 🤣 I got him from his nap and we snuggled a little and I put the hood on his head so he reached for it to try to figure out what it was, so I lifted him up to the mirror behind me and shower him himself and the hood. He loves seeing himself but he seemed extra happy as he also checked out the hood! Getting to be part of someone's first's is amazing. Having a baby means everything is first's! 🥰

Our son is now strong and heavy enough to open the stove! 💪👶 He's been trying to climb up the drawers but kinda gets stuck on the bottom "step", but when he opened the stove, he had a platform to stand on, so he got up on it and could the much easier reach things on the counter! 🤣 We don't use the stove so for that it's fine, but we were both going, Yay! Well done! Wait, oh no!!! 🤣🤣🤣 now he can reach things on the counter 😅

We've been away for a week and it's night but I can already tell how our son has developed a ton since we were last home! I heared him coming towards me, and realized I was hearing his feet, not his hands! Instead if him trying to use the walls if possible, he focused on walking in the middle and only used the wall if necessary! He took a bite directly out of my meat burrito and had no issues with the tortilla or meat like he seemed to have before we left! I think we might have left with a baby and come home with a toddler 😱

Home sweet home! It's been raining today, so we were 100% sure if we would be able to make it all the way home, but we did without needing to drive out of the way at all! After a week away, every second we didn't need to prolong the trip is amazing!

I'm starting to wonder if this Panera doesn't have a normal thermostat, but rather one that makes it 20-30f colder than it is outside, cause today is rainy and only in the 70s outside, but feels like the 50s inside!!!! It was cooler the other day in here while in the 90s outside, but not this cold!!!! I put an extra onesie on my son cause I realized I didn't bring anything long sleeved, but at least I can double his core layers! I'm wearing a sweater and I'm almost shivering 🥶 I know I wanted summer to end... 😅😑

I know "drive safe" is supposed to show someone that cares, but it's always rubbed me the wrong way. Like, their think I'm reckless, or like their concern for my safety will in any way affect how I drive, or stay I stay safe. I guess I kinda feel insulted by the comment 🤔 How do you feel when you hear it?

just saw a guy come in with a Gizmo on his hirt, so I had to ask "how do you wash that?" and "Do you get more shirts if you do?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I hope he doesn't eat after midnight and drop food on himself! 😳🤣

It just dawned on me that my 1 year old son has been trying to tell me a dad joke for days and I was not getting it!! I caught it when I just now asked him why he keeps trying to eat the banana peel instead of the banana fruit. Well, it's cause it's very "apPEALing" 🤣🤣🤣

Our son looks like my husband, and everyone keeps saing our son is a cutie or whichever their preferred word is, so clearly, they're complementing my husband too 😎🥰
