Had this thought in 2022 but seems more and more plausible as time goes on, tether replaces the federal reserve and USDT replaces the FED dollar.
Would be the cleanest way to anchor the dollar back to bitcoin and gold, also explains why bessent keeps pushing treasuries to the front end of the curve into tethers pocket.

So I responded and asked "do I think the mechanism that must steal more and more forever will ever hit a limit? Yes I think it will.
Steal to much, or production slows to much and slop(CPI) prices get to high, the machine breaks.
Internet bought the political class some time, China off shoring and automation bought some time, I'm sure AI will buy them some time, but at some point, the machine will break.

Sure the world sees Bitcoin as a tech stock right now, but you can't change the nature of something. The truth of bitcoins nature as a superior store of value and money will come to light.

I rewatched the big short over the weekend. You know when the credit agencies were lying about the mortgage ratings so they could buy insurance before it collapsed.
That's where we are at with bitcoin. Everyone is still believing in the lie that stocks, real estate, and other assets will stay inflated against gold and bitcoin.(they will obviously stay inflated against the dollar)
But the truth will assert itself in the end, you can only cheat reality for so long.
