Most people do what they're told as if obedience is some form of altruism. I think we are taught this from a young age since parents tell kids to obey or be punished, so we associate obedience with being good. It takes some kind of psychological event or breaking down of that false narrative, in order to overcome this and judge what is good and right for yourself.

If jobs exist because people will pay for what they consider valuable, wouldn't AI eliminating all jobs mean there is an end to what humans find valuable? We've not hit that limit yet, in fact the more jobs that became automated the more things of value we discovered. The farmer 500 years ago didn't know programming or space mining would be a career until the farming become automated. I'm sure AI and automation will continue to replace jobs, but I think that just continues to expand what humans find valuable forever. 🤔

Gm nostr Feeling bullish this morning. In spite of chaos and fear and suffering there is a way out. Not everyone will make it, but some of us will. The way is difficult, but it exists, it's possible. We can make it through and on the other side is independence, freedom, prosperity, community, and love for another. I do my best to show people the way, but I don't do nearly enough. Be the reason someone stops believing in fiat today.
