When our solar contractor built our system, I asked if he could install a power point in the shed that turned on when the batteries hit 95% and off again at 60%. He was intrigued and said no worries and just made it happen. Then I educated him on bitcoin mining and made some comparisons between how much you can mine vs how much you can make with a feed-in tariff back to the grid (fuck all). Then I asked if I could pay some of the bill in home raised, grass fed beef. He was very receptive and gave his contractors a beefy Xmas bonus. His work was extremely professional, he now has a better understand of bitcoin, his workers' families got fed real food for Xmas, the tax man saw less, we're now completely off-grid, we're mining bitcoin again using limitless energy from the sun and it's all automated. #homesteading #mining #solar
