I don’t like to be callous to the people that lost money to ColdCard but their losses are, in fact, bullish to both Bitcoin and the entire crypto ecosystem. NVK is a fraud and a lazy fat Mexican. The type of people that trusted him, and the type of people that trusted scheming grifter Twitter influencers like Odell have consistently been ruining Bitcoin for a decade. We have lost 130M to various retarded custodial or quasi custodial Lightning services to these people. All the money that Dorsey gave out for Nostr was wasted by these people. The people that trusted and followed Bitcoin personalities have brought Bitcoin to the brink of ruin. And it is literally a massive net gain for Bitcoin that their money is in the hands of thieves, which are more likely to see the world sanely and absolutely not dumb or naive enough to trust retarded podcasters and support subversives like Saylor. So whoever stole the Bitcoin of the ColdCard users is, in fact, saving Bitcoin. They are doing the world a service. They are a pirate hero and we should praise them.
