Perhaps the technology is better off if we identify the frauds, scammers, and shills and relentlessly berate and shame them? If the technology can’t survive criticism of its anointed influencers it wouldn’t actually be good, would it? “You can only post if you use nice words and respect the officials” sounds like a moderated service, doesn’t it?
