Everyone I know of is enslaved by debt. Elon Musk's net worth goes below 0 when you factor in his valuation of the life debt he owes to the military industrial complex. He will do anything for them to stay alive. He cannot buy his way out of that. Same for Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, etc. If they were millionaires instead of billionaires, they could just "keep their heads down" and "do whatever they want" as long as what they "want" is to be mentally sick from the stress of living and cooperating with a meat grinder system that slowly kills them, but slightly faster kills things and people they love. Kinda like how Henry Ford offered the working man any color of paint he wants, as long as he wants black. And if you choose to stand up to the system, you lose that middle ground option. You can't stand up to the system but just be rich enough to "keep your head down" and not be poor. They will try to make you poor, and if that fails, you end up in the same position as Elon or Bezos. And who's "they?" Whoever "they" are, imagine their debt! They owe everyone everything. I can imagine maybe some rare special people out there may have escaped slavery in this era, but I don't know who, or how.

Like, you can have a top ranking post up to once a month, then you're capped at 2nd highest, and if you get that in the same month the new cap is 3rd highest, then 5th highest, then 8th (not a linear progression) Nobody should be able to have #1 top posts multiple times a week

He's been trying to modify the crad project plans to fit my proposal. Today, Andrew K announced that the crad CLI has achieved some essential functions. The repo is hosted on the OG Radicle. There have been no progress updates from pollghoul, the other dev that was going to give this project a try. Current status of retro-crypto, the Nintendo 64 crypto multitool - Bowler-Bear has been building this project from scratch, and it now has some usable functions on original Nintendo 64 hardware. Zooming and panning controls in the latest updates have fixed previous issues with text readability. There's also a Linux terminal version for people who don't have a Nintendo 64. There isn't much functionality yet, just some basic seed-generation tools for testing purposes. For example, you can generate wallet addresses and nostr keys from dice rolls. It will take more testing and community feedback to determine how secure the seed generation is, and fix any potential issues. This early version stands as proof the project is making real progress, moving towards future goals like air-gapped wallet functionality and encrypted messaging.
