Testing how the archive.org Wayback Machine seems to handle archiving a #nostr post from a few different clients: ✅ nostr.at - pass ✅ asknostr.site - pass 🟡 njump.me - some passes, some fails (in multiple tests) 🟡 yakihonne.com - pass, flawed results ❌ jumble.social - fail ❌ nostrudel.ninja - fail ❌ primal.net - fail Note that these devs aren't making wayback machine apps, they're making web apps. The wayback machine is an app to archive them. So this test is not as much about the quality of the nostr apps, as the capabilities of the wayback machine.

Did you know a PNG image can technically be decoded by hand without a calculator? I think gif can too. You'd need like, a book worth of reference pages on the code bytes and mathematical steps. But the calculations take a human-work amount of time in the end. View quoted note →

A lot of people act like they have a plan to save lives without mass executions, when they don't actually have a plan. They're neither willing or able to develop a strategy that works, but they act like the only working strategies they won't support are lethal ones, because they have some other working strategy.

If we invade Iran, we shouldn't fuck up the whole thing like Iraq and Afghanistan, we should just use it as a place for US soldiers to die. Should have handled Iraq and Afghanistan this way too.
