ICE is still in Minneapolis but people have basically given up on doing anything about it
I assume the city is still protesting but not enough of them joined nostr or anything, the "hype" died down with nothing really happening

Digit is Digit. I love her. I knew her online from wallstreetbets and she disappeared while going through some shit. I keep needing proof she's safe.
To anyone I've ever treated unfairly, I apologize.
I would rather read a post from your cat walking on your laptop than a post from your so called "AI agent"
If human-tagging WoT really too complicated for people who can code, here's a simpler mechanism:
First layer, every npub needs a matching NIP-13 PoW pass in order to post.
Everyone has a slider or text box to set how high the PoW requirement is for them to see an npub's posts. (Npubs who've been on nostr for longer might have higher PoW if they've kept mining for it)
Second layer, there are 2 types of reports:
1. Hashtag abuse
2. Other
Both have a list of reported npubs saved by the user. The list also saves what nevents the report button has been clicked on for each reported npub, along with an optional text field for other details with each report.
"Other" is a vague catch all because we're trying to prevent systemic abuses such as pretending this system can filter bots. Someone needs to put the actual work in to implement a human-tag WoT to filter bots if we want something that calls itself a bot filter. "Other" just generally says you want to filter the npub for some reason, which might be because it's a bot, but the UX is going to present it as "user 1 is blocked because user 2 blocked them" not "user 1 is blocked for being a bot"
Hashtag abuse gets its own category because it's pretty concretely identifiable and more useful to track on its own than anything in the "other" category I can think of.
Third layer - a simpler web of trust mechanism. Everyone can follow each other's reported npub lists. So, you can filter most bots and spam out of hashtag feeds by just following the report lists of some users that spend time reporting all the hashtag abuse they see.
This solution is basically trash compared to human-tagged WoT, but easier to implement and better than nothing I guess. I can't code, all I can do is wish coders would use good designs that make sense.
How bad do bots have to break the internet before someone develops a tool to fix it?
