Digit is Digit. I love her. I knew her online from wallstreetbets and she disappeared while going through some shit. I keep needing proof she's safe. To anyone I've ever treated unfairly, I apologize.
Timing the market vs time in the market - Like 10 years ago everyone thought AMD was going bankrupt. I kept telling people to buy shares because the Zen architecture was coming out, but I was too young to buy any myself, and no one listened to me. When I got old enough, I bought some AMD and made some money on it, but my focus was already back to Bitcoin because AMD had already made a lot of progress overthrowing Intel, while Bitcoin hadn't made a lot of progress overthrowing the dollar. Therefore it looked like Bitcoin still had way more room to grow. I've occasionally traded bits of AMD over the years since then, but never went back to holding it long-term like I should have. Now, computer prices are skyrocketing, and they show no signs of slowing down by the next time I want to buy a computer. But tech share prices are skyrocketing too. Moore's Law has died in dollar terms, but it's kind of alive if you measure in shares (like CPU-cores-per-share or RAM-gigabytes-per-share). So I was very early, and now I'm very late paying inflated "AI" bubble prices to buy AMD, MU, SNDK, etc. I had trades with very good timing, and now I have some trades with very bad timing. Nonetheless, if the bubble pops, I can pay for computer parts in Bitcoin. If it doesn't, I can pay in shares. This is the position the market has forced me into, gg.
Semtech is still up since I first posted about it, but my position is now at a loss because I increased it around earnings Not selling, holding to make them pay me for any LoRa radios they make me pay them for
