Electric rates for the power company serving the bulk of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula(Consumers Energy) will soon rise, thanks to the largest rate hike approved in more than 20 years. Prices are up forever. 80% of modern-day convenience, relies on the fact your hooked on a fishing line paying an electric bill. It's always been an energy war. And their reeling michiganders in a bit more.
GM. 50-50/50-50 rule. Spend 50% of your money like you have 50days left to live. Spend the other 50% like you have 50 years to live. Can't lose.
Back in the Day only Sailors got tattoos when they were DRUNK in the Philippines. Then it became a "Thing" with STRIPPERS in the 9Os. Now Dentists, Teachers, Nurses, Interns all TATTED UP. It's kinda sad people let a website like npub.world erase their nostr history. Kinda seems it's random if you have a leak or not. I've been completely wreckless with my key. Logging in with nsec, leaving it on my clipboard, giving it to ai, and much more... No leak though... 👀🤔
On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, a Los Angeles jury found both Meta and YouTube liable in a landmark lawsuit alleging that their platforms were designed to be addictive and caused harm to children. The jury determined that both companies were negligent in the design and operation of their platforms and that this negligence was a substantial factor in the harm suffered by the plaintiff, a 20-year-old woman. Meta was found to be 70% responsible, while YouTube was found 30% responsible for the damages.
$100 a month invested from age 25 to 65 is $1,176,000. You do NOT have to retire broke. "I can't afford $100/mo!" You can. You probably pay about this much for all the streaming services together to watch all the shows you want to. You just have to make better decisions.
At this point, Americans aren't just taxpayers, they're fraud victims. And we want our fucking money back.
