GM Crazy that 70-80 year olds are generally seen as unemployable due to physical and mental decline. But we're allowing them to run our entire country.
I don’t want no second job, I’m not working more than 40 hours, im not finna just work work work because people are so obsessed with grind culture. AND I’ll call OFF to have fun idgaf! I’m not gonna spend my whole life at work. If this triggers you or makes you call me lazy, stop being a happy slave. We here for a good time not a long one. Your time is worth more than money. Yall so lost. If “hard work” and long hours made folks rich then everybody would be rich. STOP saying you’ll have work now & have fun later when later is not guaranteed. You only have right now. You could literally díe tomorrow and all people will say about your life is that you went to work. TF.
Today, I made a chair out of sticks and string I found. Bonus: Can be used as a toilet. Just remove the sticks laying across the bottom. My 5yr old was very thankful. 😅 image Not bad for a first attempt. I can see where i could improve though. Think I'll make more things out of sticks when im the woods...🤔🤷
I think we're heading back to the early 2000s in my house.... where just the computer has internet. Name one benefit of smart phones. Generally if it has the word smart in it, it's usually just used for surveillance. View quoted note →
Hypothetically…….. I’m being taxed on money I never made. Let that sink in. If I bought my property outright for $60,000 in 2009 Now the county says it’s worth $246,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I make a profit? No. Did I get a check for $246,000? No. But my taxes jumped like I did. That’s the problem. This isn’t income. This isn’t cash. This is a number someone decided on paper — and now I’m being billed for it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell. If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax. So why does owning a home work differently? Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains? A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.” It’s about being charged for value you never received. And people are starting to notice. This needs to be on everyone’s mind✔️
UNPOPULAR OPINION: A lot of "mental health issues" disappear when bills are paid, rent is secure, and the fridge is full. Peace is expensive. And pretending money doesn't affect mental health is privilege.
