I woke up today, scrolled through fb for 30sec, and it finally hit me
The world is way to dramatic now a days for me to give a fuck about this soap opera we've become.
Who gives a fuck what Nike is doing? Not me.
Who gives a fuck if eminem wants to kamikaze his own career? Not me.
Who gives a fuck if mentally ill people are "trapped in the wrong body"? Not me.
Who gives a fuck if pedophiles are coming out publicly? Not me.
(Put another 1000 things here)

Feminists have spent DECADES trying to eradicate the stigma that women are hysterical and emotionally unbalanced by nature.
And in just a few short weeks yall have
managed to completely flip sides.
🤣
Clancy’s entire “insanity” defense rests completely on the claim that she “heard a voice” telling her to kill her kids. The problem is: 1) There’s no way to prove or disprove an imaginary voice. Any murderer can make this claim and if it counts as “reasonable doubt” in her case then we can never convict anyone of anything ever again. 2) She never reported this voice before or since the crime, strongly indicating that she made it up. 3) Most importantly, even if she DID hear a voice, why didn’t she refuse to follow the command? If a voice told me to murder my children, I would refuse. If the voice threatened and harassed me, I’d still refuse. If an actual real human told me to kill my kids and put a gun to my head, I would still refuse. If this imaginary voice did appear, Clancy could have chosen not to obey it. Instead, by her telling, the voice spoke exactly one time and she just immediately complied with what it told her to do. Not even a moment of pushback. Even if I bought that bullshit, which I don’t, she would still be guilty as hell.
Just going to leave this here.....
RIGHT!?

"You are the best worker we've ever had and if your patient, there will be a management spot open eventually for you here. For now how do you feel about a pay raise and cover people that have called in?"

If postpartum mental illness becomes a get out of jail free card for murdering your children, then by logic, anyone diagnosed with it should lose custody of their kids the same day.
People will mobilize against a tangible, visible threat to their privacy, but not against an abstract, diffuse system of economic extraction.
The system spent 50 years squeezing every drop of value out of human labor, broke the social contract, and is now shocked that humans are opting out or demanding more, so they're turning to AI as a last ditch Hail Mary to keep the machine running, without fixing the machine.
The actual economy is held together by:
Underpaid essential workers
Gig workers living out of their cars
Immigrant labor doing jobs nobody else will
People working two jobs just to afford a studio apartment
The dollar has lost 98% of its value since 1971.
The social contract is in ICU.
Corporations are begging AI to save them from the mess they made.
So, you wanna change the system, but your hyped about Ai....🤣
The irony is almost too perfect....
"Revolutionaries" who want to burn down the old, centralized system are singing the praises of the very tech that might just be the most potent tool for automating and controlling that same system they want to burn down....
