Saw hello to @MSP_bot!! If you make a feed with @MSP 2.0 and add me as a split all of your boost will be sent to nostr with this bot. This is very early but its part of what @Chad and Reeds Podcast (candr) is doing to send PC 2.0 Boost to Nostr so things like onlyboosts.social (or any app) can collect them and build discovery tools with it. Want to self-host your music on a RSS feed but not sure where to start? I just made a quick video of how to do it with musicsideproject.com and the $18/year @nostr.build plan. The video below is even hosted on there. Two things not covered at the end are how to know if your music is on podcastindex.org. It takes a few minutes for it to get added so I didn't want the video to just be me waiting. When it's on podcastindex the podcastindex logo in the bar at the bottom will turn green and when clicked take you to the podcastindex where you'll see all your info. Then your stuff will show up on things like Fountain, v4vmusic.com or boostmebitch.com Any questions just reach out. PS thanks to everyone thats been helping me test this out over the past few months. Its been a lot of fun and I've learned a lot more about how this stuff works under the hood.

Apparently the Primal remote signer wasn't working on my site for importing and uploaded Nostr Music but it should be fixed now. Thanks @Aaron of Essex for the bug report. 💪

I've been working on some experimental nostr features in @MSP 2.0 that may or may not ever be used so I hid them in the UI. If you go to the menu in the upper right hand corner and click "Show Experimental Features" they will now show up with a 🧪 next to them. Hope this makes it less confusing for people. o7

If you're using @MSP 2.0 to submit or update your RSS feeds to podcast index places make sure you don't have any spaces or special characters in your feed url. This was causing duplicate feeds in the podcast index. If you do have a feed that needs change and you do change it let me know so I can keep an eye on it incase it needs some special attention.

Got a RSS feed and want to add it to Nostr Music? Simply signing with Nostr, import your RSS feed into MSP, click save and pick Publish to Nostr Music.

@Matt Finlay @New Music Nudge Unit @𝖘𝖊𝖙𝖙𝖔𝖛𝖎𝖈𝖍 @npub1l5hw...hdrf some of you guys asked about PodPing support to let apps know you updated your feeds well I just added it to new.musicsideproject.com. This is the first pass so I assume I'm sending the correct data but I build in production so there's only one way to find out. There is an option in the "save" menu to send the PodPing and there is also a button at the bottom to do it. It should auto populate your feed if available or you just paste it in and hit send. I'm also updating stablekraft.app so that when you send the PodPing here my app will update or add your feed and not have to wait for the nightly polling or for me to trigger it manually.
