Pretttyyy fired up with how this window is coming together I really focused on texture work here to create layers in the window so that certain elements and colours pop more, while giving the window some breathing room You can see certain colours coming to the ‘front’ of the canvas due to more light reflecting from the texture, like the teal, gold and red. While you see the clear glass almost in the background due to it having a smooth surface I feel like this piece, and the intention I put into it, is a real level up in terms of craftsmanship #gn #grownostr #art #artstr #build #buildstr

One of the most impactful things I’ve done this year was starting a book club with around 10 male friends of mine I always wanted to be apart of an informal men’s group. A place to go each month talk about life, appreciate each others company, and feel intellectually stimulated Most of the time when I see friends it surrounds some kind of event, typically with alcohol involved. Another set of twin windows this month The homeowner once had two similar windows which they got rid of years ago, and recently wanted them brought back to life I worked with a local glass painter to bring to life the bird center pieces, an important element they wanted incorporated First half ellipse shape I’ve ever brought to life. Which was definitely tricky to make sure it fit perfectly in their existing window frame. Took many attempts to get the stencil precise.
