"At least 100,000 Australians, including WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, marched for Gaza across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the pouring rain at a demonstration on Sunday. It wasn’t that long ago when I sincerely wondered if we’d ever see Assange’s face again, let alone in public, let alone in Sydney, let alone heading up what had to be one of the largest pro-Palestine rallies ever held in Australia. Dare to be encouraged. The light is breaking through."

@Liana Wallet Tried out setting upinheritance today and it worked quite nicely. I love how simple to use the wallet is. 🔥 The only thing stopping me from using it live is I can't connect it to my own node (and I don't want to run a node on every host that would have the wallet). Do you have any plans to enable connecting to own remote nodes?

@Bitcoin Keeper do you have a 'how to' anywhere on setting up inheritance without using a hardware wallet? I am struggling to find any inheritance setup instructions. Wallet looks very good BTW and works on GoS and on Sailfish without google play services 🔥

An absolutist mindset can easily turn into an excuse to do nothing. I can't have perfect privacy online so I'll just keep using my mainstream mobile snooping device and post my life on Facebook. EMF radiation is everywhere, so I'll just ignore it and sleep with my mobile phone switched on under my pillow. At 50 I can never have the fitness that I had when I was 20 so I'll just stop doing exercise and get fat. Striving to be as close to our ideal self as we can get is not only good enough, it's all we can do.

I totally judge people who use Amazon Ring. Same applies for Echo, Alexa, Siri, smart TVs and anything else which listens to everything you say at all times. You want to sell your privacy and freedom (and those of anyone near you) for a tiny bit of convenience? You can do that, but don't ask me to respect you. I don't care if any of these services claim to respect privacy, unless they can prove it with more than 'trust me bro'.

Jeremy Corbyn starts a new left-wing party in the UK. 6 years ago I would have signed up but those times are gone. a) can't forget how the left could not get enough of lockdowns b) no longer believe in parties and leaders The solution is decentralized.

"…the essence of obedience consists in the fact that a person comes to view themselves as the instrument for carrying out another person's wishes, and they therefore no longer see themselves as responsible for their actions. Once this critical shift of viewpoint has occurred in the person, all of the essential features of obedience follow." - Stanley Milgram Think of this anytime you are about to say "I am just doing my job"

Using objective data from over 88,000 adults who wore wrist-based light sensors continuously for 7 days—capturing more than 13 million hours of personal light exposure—and tracking their health outcomes over nearly a decade, the study found that brighter light at night and dimmer light during the day are associated with significantly higher risks of all-cause and cardiometabolic mortality.
