I looked at the Coldcard implementations for a few hours last night, and another few hours this morning. - It looks to me as though the vulnerabilities were deliberately designed-in. - Some loud but obscure voices have been warning about these specific Coldcard vulnerabilities for years. - The persons best placed to exploit these vulnerabilities are likely those with knowledge of the UID (serial number) pattern of the manufactured devices. - AI was not required to identify or exploit these vulnerabilities. - This does not appear to be a slip twixt cup and lip.
