made it! ๐
had a little bit of a cortisol fueled departure when engine had hiccups, and we were loosing daytime.. that ultimately, i believe it was user error and rest of trip was without incident.
glassy seas

getting ready to launch. a bit nervous. just classic anticipation jitters of hoping all goes well and stacking calories for the voyage home.
here's a picture of the sea of cars that has been the view for the last weeks, and the railing pre-epoxy fixing that we did.

I have a lot of nostr dev fomo too, love hearing updates and progress happening and so much I'd like to do, but that can wait till the rain starts. Gotta focus.
GM!
had a very busy week this week. back and forth on boatyard stuff while doing lots of work topside, had to closely supervise the work being done bottomside because they keep tryin to skip stuff that should not be skipped. was supposed to splash yesterday but they forgot to move the stands and paint the squares.. weird. it really isn't supposed to be this hard unless the yard foreman has lost all braincells.
now we will supposedly splash on monday, i escalated my discomfort with the level of weirdness to the next up in the boatyard chain of command, that's ok i have more work to do and it's easier in the yard anyway.
