#Bitcoin price action is almost like some compromised software devs deliberately opened up the entire network to spam or something. What gives?

Isn’t it weird that #bitcoin dumped on the exact day that #core v30 was released (Oct. 10) and has been bleeding ever since? Meanwhile privacy coins without detrimental changes to their code like #zec and #monero have been ripping. Must be some crazy coincidence.

So no one has lost any conviction in #bitcoin as a project to replace central/global banking with the #core(rupt) v30 implementation? #Bitcoin is suppose to be a superior monetary network to the fiat shit show people have had to endure for centuries. It gets opened up to be a polluted dumping ground for any digital sludge to be stored on the network forever and people just carry on with “21 million forever.” Aren’t bitcoiners low time preference minded? #Bitcoin is supposed to be the people’s MONEY for centuries. The implications for massive OP_return data to be passed around and mined into permanence are far reaching and now a threat forever, not just today, tomorrow, or next week. This update was contentious, rushed, ill advised, suspicious, and completely unnecessary. It’s only a matter of time before someone somewhere exploits it and then what? “21 million forever” doesn’t mean shit when it coexists on the same blockchain as illicit material. What a fuckin shame.

What happened to #bitcoin today? Just yesterday I told everyone at work to break it off in their ass, took a shit on the boss’s desk, and did doughnuts in the parking lot…now I have to go get my job back to btfd 😏

#Bitcoin is both a network and a currency. Within the #bitcoin network and its parameters, sovereign individuals may move #bitcoin the currency to and from as they wish. That’s it. The network keeps a ledger of all of the currency units within. The currency has all of the imperative characteristics of sound money. The network has all of the imperatives for a secure and decentralized means of transacting with the currency. It’s beautiful and poetic. To advocate for any other unnecessary data (besides a minuscule amount for timestamps of a transaction) to be stored in the network is to misunderstand what #bitcoin is, and represents. It is fundamental that we maintain the integrity of the network, so the currency maintains its value. If the network becomes flawed/compromised, the currency becomes useless. #knots your node, #knots your sovereignty ✌️

I’m going to share and spread the #knots word until all of this #core(rupt) shit blows over, could be years. Everyone is starting to speak out about this as #core(rupt) v30 release approaches. Something is truly amiss within the #core(rupt) dev team, they are now assets to the state. Y(our) way to fight back is to bring more #knots nodes online. Or, at the very least, do not upgrade to #core(rupt) v30. Again, if you give a glimpse of a fuck about #bitcoin, run a #knots node. If you’re still thinking this won’t affect you and you can just be a passenger, you’re wrong. This is as big a fight as the blocksize wars, if not bigger tbh.
