Platforms like WhatsApp from Meta suck. They seem to have a serious spam problem. I was restricted, aka. rate‑limited, twice in a row because I was using a fresh WhatsApp account without phone‑book access and no usage history for this phone number over a VPN. I tried to message another user when I got restricted for 6 hours the first time (PREEMPTIVE RATE LIMITING). The second restriction occurred after I sent two text messages and one voice note to two different accounts and then messaged a third account for the first time (PREEMPTIVE RATE LIMITING AGAIN). I assume using WhatsApp with this account will stay sloooow and grinding. I hate being flagged false positive. 🏴‍☠️
