last few weeks were rough for me mentally. i was feeling overwhelmed by work and life, unable to focus properly and with impostor syndrome. had huge anxiety since performance reviews were coming and it turns out that my fears were unfounded, I'm very valued by my peers and they think i'm doing a great job and stepping up to take responsibility in not very sexy but important areas. i feel sooo relieved and motivated now. bottom line is: sometimes our self-perception is not realistic and even harmful to ourselves.
