I am publishing a serialized Bitcoin science fiction story on Nostr.
Chapter 1 is up:
A geothermal miner in Iceland finds something wrong in Bitcoin’s propagation layer.
Hard SF, Bitcoin-native themes, and an attempt to write seriously about consensus and civilizational limits.
Would especially value reactions on:
Do characters and settings grab you?
Does the technical setup land?
Where does it drag?

Make me laugh, learn or take my breath away.
The feeling when I #vibe code something that I could only have dreamed of three years ago.

So. It’s happening. What Bitcoiners and to be fair, other hard asset proponents have long predicted is now clearly unfolding.
Belief in the world order has crumbled.
Desire to hold assets backed only by belief in that system is gone.
And almost out of instinct, everyone runs to what even vikings, pirates and dragons under the Misty Mountain have hoarded for millennia. Gold, silver and shiny things.
Then they will look around them.
We survived. What next?
What is it we are sitting on anyway? What is money?
We all know what they will discover.
It’s tough to imagine that hope in the future will begin to take hold once again. But it will. We’ve already been there and we can help.
Be ready.
It starts here.

I love it!
@Guy Swann I want to share something with you that I think you might get a kick out of.
I was listening to the recent ‘Spark’s State Chain Innovation’ episode while driving and honestly, most of it was going over my head.
Arc, Spark, Lightspark, State Chains .. what!?
So I paused the playback and switched to a voice conversation with ChatGPT (have not tried PPQ’s voice integration yet) and a few minutes later I was able to rejoin the podcast with a solid background.
A cool detail is that the LLM was accessing many of your previous show transcripts to add color to the explanations.
Musing on how Bitcoin has changed my life I realized that my experience is probably worth sharing, as it does not seem to be that common.
Rather than retiring or switching into a purely Bitcoin path, I have simply let go the parts of my fiat job that I was doing mainly for money and refocussed on using my expertise to do things that I enjoy and where I can add the most value.
It’s a more subtle shift, but nevertheless a personally rewarding one.
So, I thank all of those Bitcoiners that over the years I have met in person, read, listened to podcasts and who hang out on Nostr for keeping me informed and inspired enough to get to this point.
