There is nothing particularly wrong with being a programmed NPC. That is just how human nature is. Not everyone is a leader. The problem arises when NPCs are programmed to do harmful things rather than good.

If it is morally right for the government to tax inheritance in order to create a 'fairer' society, then could you argue it is fair to edit people's genes so that they are all the same height, iq, etc at birth? That would be the logical endpoint of egalitarianism, right? #asknostr
