So, listening to the latest @npub1s5yq...6q7z podcast and it got me looking at how much US treasuries China own and was surprised to see the UK owning a similar amount at over $700billion. So question for one of the macro experts, @Lyn Alden @npub1s5yq...6q7z @npub1d3f4...r4xv @npub1rjsr...s0v5, why doesn't the UK (or any country with large foreign reserves) sell their US treasuries and use it to pay off their own debt and dramatically reduce the UKs debt to GDP?

Just completed my first 36 hour fast. Was pretty cool and not too many hunger issues until 32 hours at 03.00am! Feeling a bit light headed today, but getting there. Aim is to do this once a quarter #fasting
Hi @npub1d3f4...r4xv, loving the big print. Just interested on this page about the omission of Japan as isn't it over 230% debt to gdp? Like you, i think the math ads up to a big print, but i have a nagging thought that they'll come up with something to do the same in the US so the debt keeps increasing without hyper inflation or a currency collapse, for another few decades.... image
